Dandelion Syrup Recipe
A sweet and floral syrup with a hint of lemonperfect for pancakes, toast, or tea!
Ingredients:
4 cups dandelion flowers
4 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Preparation Steps:
1. Rinse dandelion petals to remove dirt.
2. Simmer in 4 cups of water for a few minutes.
3. Let steep in the fridge for 24 hours, then strain the liquid.
4. Add 2 cups sugar and 2 tbsp lemon juice; stir over medium heat until dissolved.
5. Simmer until thickened to your liking.
6. Cool and store in sterilized jars in the fridge for 2-3 weeks, or freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
