I came across a tip someone shared on Facebook and thought it was worth passing along.
Dissolve one box of Morton canning salt in a gallon of warm water. Then add a gallon of white vinegar, and slowly mix in one cup of Dawn dish soap.
Spray the mixture directly on weeds. It worked well for me and is much cheaper than store-bought herbicides.
Note: Salt doesnt dissolve in vinegar, so make sure to mix it with water first.
