Heres how to overwinter peppers in pots:
1 At seasons end, dig them up and transplant into pots with fresh soil.
2 Prune all leaves and small stems, leaving just clean main stems.
3 Bring them indoors to a cool, dark spaceroom temp but no light.
4 Water only once a month. Keep them dormant.
5 In spring, slowly wake them up using the hardening off method.
6 Once nights stay above 55F 13C, move them back outdoors or into the garden.
