Measured plans, real timings, plain gardening advice.

Category: Vegetable Garden

Start with the space you actually have. This is the vegetable garden section, where the crop is the subject: how far apart to set tomatoes, when to pull the garlic, why the zucchini stopped setting fruit in August. Every guide leads with the number you need first, in inches, days or pounds per plant. Spacing grids print on Letter paper at a stated scale, with real spacing labeled in inches. Bed layouts are drawn to scale with the dimensions marked on them. Sowing and harvest dates follow state Cooperative Extension calendars, sorted by USDA zone and your own frost dates. If a crop needs more room than the seed packet claims, the drawing says so before you buy.
